A mock Cheque Presentation Ceremony and Launch of One Egg One Child (OEOC) Feeding program for 5 schools of Ipoh was held at SJKC Phui Ying. 100 poorest of the poor children were specially selected from the following 5 schools.

1. SJKC Bandar Seri Botani,Ipoh

2. SJKC Phui Ying, Simpang Pulai

3. SJKC Bukit Merah, Lahat

4. SJKC Tat Choi, Tg Rambutan 

5. SJKC Manong

Educate A Child (EAC) program for 8 schools in Kampar

Once again we would like to thank our generous donors for their kindness and goodness to our poor needy and marginalized children in the new villages in the district of Perak. The children were very excited over the new school bags, stationeries, dictionaries, calculators, etc. Essential food provisions were given to families of the children.

The children were excited seeing new school bags and candies. These children now have a complete set of stationery to learn in school because of you. Your contributions made a big difference in the life of these children.

Chinese New Year Party with Orang Asli children in Kampar

Living Hope hosted a CNY Party at our Living Hope’s Education Resource Centre in Kampar for the Orang Asli children. The children enjoy the food and activity. Each child was given a Christmas gift, a lots of fun, drinks and food.

Christmas Party at Gua Musang

Living Hope’s team visited the Orang Asli in Gua Musang. We hosted a Christmas party for 40 Orang Asli children. Christmas gifts were given to them.

Christmas Party in Myanmar Centre

Dr Peggy Wong with Ms Sanddie Cheong and the team hosted a Christmas party for the Myanmar children on 27th November 2019. New school bags and Christmas presents were given to them. The children also had KFC fried chicken for lunch. They had a great time

Visit to SK Pos Legap Sungai Siput Utara, Perak

10 October 2019

Dr Peggy Wong and the team visited SK Pos Legap in Sungai Siput Utara, Perak on 10th October 2019. We have distributed gifts to 324 Orang Asli children. Gifts were also given to the teachers and staff as well. The children were so happy to receive the gifts. 

The children in the school are living in boarding houses (Asrama). These children were  5 to 12 years old, living far away from their families in the surrounding villages of Kampung Pos Legap. 

The teachers hope to see Living Hope coming back again to this isolated village.

Living Hope Resource Center in Kampar

A new Living Hope Education Resource Center was launched in Bandar Baru Kampar. This is to benefit the underprivileged children of Kampar and beyond.

Visit to Orang Asli in Bukit Terang Village

3 August 2019

Living Hope’s visit to Bukit Terang Village has distributed toys, stationeries, snacks and essential food items to the Orang Asli children. We also hosted a lunch for 100 Orang Asli, both adults and children. The children receive the bags of stationery and toys with joy and gratitude. All this wouldn’t be possible without support from the donors.
