Recently, Living Hope donated and distributed goodie bags, school bags, stationery, and more to students from three schools: SJKC Hwa Min, Temoh, SJKC Kheung Wa, Tapah, and SJKC Tanah Mas. A heartfelt thank you to Madam Tan for representing Living Hope and personally carrying out the distributions, as well as to our generous donors for making this possible and bringing joy to the underprivileged and marginalised children of Malaysia.
To mark Living Hope’s 18th Anniversary, our team visited one of our Myanmar learning centres in Selangor for a heartwarming celebration with the children. The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter as we shared cake, enjoyed delicious pastries, handed out goodies, and distributed goodie bags to the children. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend time together, celebrate this milestone, and show our continued love and support for the children in our care.
We’re deeply grateful to our dedicated donors whose continued support has made it possible for us to care for the refugee families across our 5 Learning Centres.
From April through June, we were able to distribute grocery provisions each month, reaching over 1,200+ adults and children. These monthly gifts have made a real difference in their daily lives, offering stability and hope during uncertain times.
Thank you for your generosity, kindness, and for walking alongside us in this journey.
We are happy to share that Living Hope has provided essential furniture, including 4 beds, 4 cupboards, a sofa, refrigerator, dining set, washing machine, and more, to support the residents of a children and elderly care home in Segamat.
We’re also incredibly grateful to the 9 residents who visited our office to collect books, toys, stationery, and other helpful items for their community.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Mr. Vincent, whose tireless efforts have helped establish 12 homes across Segamat. His dedication to caring for over 380 children, seniors, and individuals in need is truly inspiring, and we’re honored to support this meaningful work.
We’re so thankful to our generous donors for helping us provide monthly groceries for refugee families across our 5 Learning Centres.
These photos are from January, February, and March 2025, a glimpse into the impact of your kindness. With your support, we’ve been able to feed over 1,000+ individuals each month. What a beautiful reminder that compassion shared is hope multiplied.
We thank our donors for the provision of food packs & groceries for our Myanmar refugee children & families from our 5 learning centers. These are from the month of September & October.
On October 2nd, our team visited 3 village schools in Tapah to distribute basic food provisions, school bags, stationaries, goodie bags, snacks, etc. to the poor, needy & marginalised children. We thank our donors for the donation of food packs to these children. These children are from extremely poor families.
Living Hope sponsored 57 goodie bags for the children of Rumah Hope as part of its 30th-anniversary celebration.
Rumah Hope is a home for abused, neglected, and abandoned children. Dr. Peggy served as the Vice Chairman of Rumah Hope from 1999 to 2006 before founding Living Hope in 2007.
Dr. Peggy was instrumental in constructing Rumah Hope’s second building for girls, a project costing RM1.2 million. The fundraising for this endeavor was organized by Dr. Peggy, Datin Winnie Loo of A Cut Above, and the fundraising committee in 2005.
It has been a joy to see the children grow up, with some earning their master’s degrees, others obtaining bachelor’s degrees, and many now working in banks and corporations and thriving in their careers. We thank God and the donors of Rumah Hope for their support.
On the 29th of May, 2024, we adopted 7 refugee children from Dunamis Nation Academy, located at Oval, as our 6th learning center for Myanmar refugees. We thank our donors for the donation of school bags, stationaries & danish pastries for our first visit there.
